Dog Rescue Story Oreo

One day, a woman by the name of Wanda found an ad on
Craigs List for a dog that needed a home. The dog
belonged to a military family that was relocating and could
not take their dog with them. Unfortunately, the family
was going to leave the three year old pooch with the
Humane Society (a sad fate for a dog that had been a
family member for three years!). Luckily a neighbor
rescued the dog, got it medical care and placed an ad on
Craigs List. That’s where Wanda and her family enter the
picture! Wanda had been praying for a dog. When she
saw the ad, she immediately called and made an
appointment. Luckily, Wanda called when she did. Soon
after, another person called and wanted to buy the dog for
breeding purposes! When Wanda finally met the
homeless pooch, it was love at first sight…for both
Wanda and the dog! The pup immediately sat on Wanda’s
lap and when Wanda would walk away…the dog would
follow. It was meant to be! The family named the pup,
Oreo and she is one happy and spoiled family member!
Thank you Wanda for providing a forever, loving home to
Oreo and thanks to the wonderful neighbor that saved
Oreo from what would have been a horrible life in a puppy
mill!
