Does Your Cat Love You? Five ways to tell if your cat cares. |
No, it’s your cat! Cats will purr for any number of reasons...but if your cat makes a chirping noise while rubbing up against you he really, really loves you! Personally, I have never heard this sound. Norman must not love me very much. |

If your cat rolls around on the ground in front of you it means he is comfortable and ready to play! Now we all know that cats don’t just play with anyone...so if he rolls...you must be special! |
3. Does my cat rub against my legs because he has an itch? |
Well, maybe. However, when a cat rubs up against your legs and wraps his tail around you it can also mean that he loves you! In fact, he loves you so much he is doing these things so that he can leave his scent behind...kind of like marking you as HIS territory! |
4. So it's not the best gift you have ever received! |
I killed this defenseless bird just for you! Ok, it may not be a box of chocolates....but it’s a gift from your beloved cat just the same! Afterall, he would only kill for someone he loves. |
5. Does my cat knead my leg like bread because he loves me? |
If your cat kneads your leg until you have no feeling left and you need to go to the hospital to get stitches....he most certainly loves you! This act means that he views you as his mommy. Awwww... now that is just plain sweet. |
