A Puppy Mill Dog That Found a Forever Loving Home! |
Puppy mills are terrible places that SHOULD NOT exist. Janis knows first hand how horribly puppy mill dogs are treated. She adopted a one and a half year old special needs dog that was confiscated from a puppy mill. In fact, the dog she adopted was one of 334 dogs that were rescued! Just try, if you can, to imagine 334 dogs cramped in cages all for the purpose of breeding and making money! Hard to imagine, I know. |
The dog that Janis adopted, now named DesiLu, is a Havanese, a rare breed that originated in Cuba. Prior to being rescued, DesiLu had never felt the grass under her paws or sunshine on her face. She had never been spoken to in a kind voice...so people made her nervous. She had never played with a toy or had a full bowl of dog food. |

It has been two years since Janis adopted DesiLu and as Janis states, “We have had the BEST two years! DesiLu has so much love to give.” We at Bunny Roo Beagle commend Janis for giving DesiLu a FOREVER LOVING home and for bringing awareness to the horrible conditions in which puppy mill dogs live.
