Decorated Basic Dog Cookie Recipe

You might not be able to teach an old dog new tricks....but
you can certainly take an old recipe and make it better! I love
to make cookies for my dogs, however, I don't always have
the time! Therefore, I decided to take a simple dog friendly
cookie recipe (that is quick and easy) and make it fancy by
adding some peanut butter decorations! Of course, as
always, the dogs LOVED them (especially the peanut
butter!).

Ingredients:
2 Cups of Whole Wheat Flour
1 Tblsp Baking Powder
1 Cup Peanut Butter
1 Cup Skim Milk
1 Cup Peanut Butter for Decorating!

Preheat oven to 370 degrees. Combine all ingredients and
blend. If necessary, knead with your hands! Remove dough
and place on a floured surface. Roll dough to a 1/4 inch
thickness and cut out desired shapes with a cookie cutter.
Place on a greased cookie sheet and bake for 20 minutes or
until golden brown. Remove from oven and cool.

Decorating:

Now for the really fun part! Place one cup of peanut butter in
a piping bag. You can find these bags along with decorating
tips at your local craft store in the cake decorating aisle. If
you are not familiar with these products, ask for help! Piping
is very easy and I'm sure you will get the hang of it quickly.
