Dog Breed Information The Basset Hound
The Basset Hound is known to be a stubborn dog. Therefore, training can be difficult. This dog needs a very patient yet consistent trainer! They are wonderful family pets and get along well with children. Bassets do best as country dwellers (as they love to roam) however, they do just as well in the city as long as they get their daily walks.

These dogs do
NOT like to be alone and are known to howl until company arrives. The Basset Hound is a dog of great character. They are simply adorable and make wonderful companions! If you would like to become the proud parent of a Basset please go to: Adopt a Pet!
