Fred

Fred is a nine year old Boston Terrier / Beagle mix. Amber, from Maine, adopted him less
than one week ago! Before being adopted Fred lived with an elderly couple who,
unfortunately, could no longer care for him. Before he knew it, Fred was whisked away by a
dog rescue group (Friends of Homeless Animals). Luckily for Fred, Amber came along and
looked past his age. She didn't mind that he wasn't a puppy.....she just wanted a dog who
would become a loving member of her family...and that is exactly what she got! Besides
being Amber's shadow (Fred is a little nervous after being shuffled around so much) he is a
little love bug! Thank you, Amber for adopting Fred! Many dogs find themselves in situations
in which their older owners can no longer care for them. Through no fault of their own, they
end up at the "pound" or with a rescue group. Fred is a wonderful example of an older dog
that wound up in an unfortunate situation but ended up being adopted by a caring individual!
Fred is now safe and secure in his forever, loving home!
