Jack and Chloe Rescue

Misty has certainly seen her fair share of dog abuse
and neglect. In March of 2008, she adopted an
American Bulldog Puppy that had been kept in a
cage for the majority of its’ short life. The previous
owner had starved the pup and had not provided
necessary and much needed medical care. The pup
was dehydrated and close to death. Luckily, a
concerned neighbor reported the abuse and the rest
is history! Jack now lives with Misty and her family
and is a healthy, energetic bundle of joy! Thankfully,
Misty’s story does not end there. Misty’s family
decided to adopt another abused dog...now named
Chloe. Chloe was originally rescued by a no-kill
shelter and had to be rehabilitated due to the
horrible treatment she had received from her
previous owner. Chloe had been beaten, starved and
was extremely timid. I’m happy to report that due to
the medical care, love and training that Misty’s
family has provided, Chloe is now happy and
healthy! Thank you Misty for sharing your story. All
abused and neglected animals deserve a second
chance and you and your family have proven that
with a little patience and a lot of love, abused
animals can thrive! Jack and Chloe are now in their
FOREVER, loving homes and will never be
neglected again!
