Cream Cheese Dog Birthday Cake Recipe

Ingredients:
3/4 Cup of all natural, no sugar added apple sauce
2 Eggs
4 oz Low fat cream cheese
1 tsp Vanilla extract
1/4 Cup of Honey
2 Cups of Unbleached white flour
2 tsp Baking powder
1 tsp Baking soda
1/4 Cup of Wheat germ

Icing Ingredients: (Icing Optional)
6 oz Hard dog treats (such as Milkbones)
Water

Cake Directions:
Mix all wet ingredients together in a bowl. In separate bowl,
mix all dry ingredients. Slowly combine all ingredients and
mix batter well. Pour into a well greased 9x13 inch cake pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes or until toothpick
inserted in center of cake comes out clean. Cool completely.

Optional Icing:
Finely chop dog biscuits in a food processor. Add water
(starting with 1/4 cup) and mix. Add additional water until an
icing like consistency is achieved. Use your best judgment!
