Losing a dog is tough....in fact, it can be down-right devastating! Last summer, a woman by the name of Ashlee from Colorado, lost her beloved dog Sophie. Sophie was Ashlee's companion and best buddy. For some people, getting a new dog right away fills a void and helps take away some of the pain. Ashlee decided a new pup was just what she needed! She went to the local Humane Society and adopted Penelope (now named Peanut!). Peanut is a three year old Labrador who is full of energy! |
Peanut adjusted to her new home quickly and simply loves her new family. She has some issues with small children (especially those that scream!) but Ashlee is patiently working with her and Peanut gets better every day! Adopting Peanut has been nothing but a positive experience for Ashlee. Thank you, Ashlee! We salute you for giving a homeless dog a second chance at life! |
