Pugs are curious little dogs full of spunk and personality. They are 10 to 11 inches in
height, weight approximately 14 to 18 pounds and live 12 to 15 years. They come in
several colors including fawn, black, silver and apricot.

Pugs are wonderful family dogs as they are friendly, affectionate, and well tempered.
They don’t do well on extremely long walks or in hot weather so they are not a good
choice if you are looking for a hiking companion.

Pugs are known for their snoring, snuffling and snorting. Their bulging eyes are
vulnerable to scratches and their wrinkled faces must be washed regularly in order to
avoid odor and infection. They are strong-minded animals and can be difficult to train,
however, what they lack in obedience they make up for in intelligence and
personality.

Pugs love to be with people. They can easily adapt to city or country living as long as
