Rescue Dog Lucky

Kelly works on a ranch in Wyoming. He was feeling a bit
down because his beloved Basset Hound had recently
passed away and his Mom wasn't too keen on the idea of
getting another dog. Little did Kelly's Mom know, but another
pup was about to enter her life!

One day while at work, Kelly's boss approached him and
asked if he wanted a dog. Kelly didn't think twice. They
drove up the highway to where the puppy had been playing
on the side of the road and sure enough, she was still there.
With a little coaxing, Kelly was able to get the puppy into
the car. He was bit nervous about what his Mom would say
when he brought home a new dog but he couldn't leave the
helpless puppy by the highway. All of Kelly's worrying was
for not...one lick on her face and his Mom was sold! Lucky
is just that...Lucky! She now has a forever loving home with
a family that loves her.

It is not uncommon for Kelly to see abandoned dogs on the side of the road. Many of the dogs don't survive and
fall victim to the many cars and trucks that travel the highway each day. As Kelly says, "It is simply aggravating
that somebody would dump a dog on the side of the road. Unloading a pet is one of the cruelest things a person
can do, not to mention a traumatizing experience for the dog." Thanks to Kelly, Lucky wasn't a victim...she
was...well, Lucky! Thanks, Kelly!
