Does Your Cat Love You?
Five ways to tell if your cat cares.
No, it’s your cat! Cats will purr for any number of reasons, however,
if your cat makes a chirping noise while rubbing up against you
this means he really, really loves you! Personally, I have never
heard this sound from my cat, Norman. He must not love me very
much.
1. Is that a bird chirping?
2. Rollin, Rollin, Rollin!
If your cat rolls around on the ground in front of you it means he
is comfortable and ready to play! Now we all know that cats
don’t just play with anyone, so if he rolls, you must be special!
When a cat rubs up against your legs and wraps his
tail around you it usually means that he loves you! In
fact, he loves you so much he is rubbing up against
you so that he can leave his scent behind and mark
you as HIS territory! If that's not true love, I don't
know what is!
I killed this defenseless bird just for you! Ok, it may not be a box
of chocolates, but it’s a gift from your beloved cat just the same!
After all, your cat would only kill for someone he loves. Graciously
accept his gift and then throw it away when he's not looking. After
all, you don't want to hurt his feelings!
5. Does Your Cat Knead Your Legs?
If your cat kneads your leg like he is about to make some bread,
he most certainly loves you! This act means that he views you as
his mommy. Kittens actually knead their moms when they are
hungry in order to get her milk flowing. Cats continue doing this
when they are older due to instinct.

4. So it's not the BEST gift you have ever received!
Not only do birds chirp, cats do too!
If your cat rolls on his back in your
presence, not only does he love you, he
trusts you as well!
