The Xoloitzcuintli
What is an Xoloitzcuintli? It is a dog, of course! This breed (c’mon...try
to pronounce it....show-lee-eets-queen-tlee) is a hairless dog that is
believed to have originated in Mexico over 3500 years ago. If you are
still having trouble pronouncing Xoloitzcuintli...that’s ok...you can call
them Show-Lows for short. Much easier to say, wouldn’t you agree?
This hairless pooch comes in three sizes...toy, miniature and standard.
They also come in many colors and for those of you who prefer hair on
your dog...they come in a smooth coat variety as well. These dogs are
loving, loyal and make wonderful family members!
