Chicken and Gravy Cookies
A match made in heaven! Woof!


1/2 Cup of Chicken Gravy (I used low sodium canned gravy)
1 Cup of Diced Chicken (use the food processor if you wish!)
1/2 Cup of Whole Wheat Flour 
1/2 Cup of Cornmeal 
1 Tablespoon of Butter 
​1 Egg (to brush on cookie tops before baking)


Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, combine the gravy, diced chicken and butter. Mix well. Next, slowly add the cornmeal and flour. If the dough is too sticky, add a small amount of flour. Once all ingredients are well blended, use a rolling pin to roll out the dough. Choose a cookie cutter and cut out shapes. Place the shapes on a greased cookie sheet. In a small bowl, beat the egg. Brush a small amount of egg on top of each cooking. This will add a touch of flavor and a pretty shine! Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown. That's it! Easy and delicious. Store in an airtight container.
