Chick N' Spinach Cookies
Homemade St. Patricks Day Cookies for Dogs! 


4 Cups of Unbleached Flour 
1 Teaspoon of Baking Powder 
1 Cup of Shredded Chicken
1/3 Cup of Canola Oil
1 Tablespoon of Honey 
1 Cup of Warm Water 
1/2 Cup of Chopped Spinach 
Small Amount of Skim Milk (to brush tops of cookies)


Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, mix together the flour and baking powder. Slowly add the remaining ingredients and gently blend. If necessary, knead the dough with your hands for a few minutes. Form the dough into balls and place them on a lightly greased cookie sheet. If possible, make all of the balls the same size so that they cook evenly. Press each ball with a fork to flatten. Finally, brush each cookie with a small amount of skim milk. Bake the cookies for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown (especially the bottoms). Store for up to three days in an airtight container. After three days, freeze what is left so that they do not spoil.
