Tuna & Cheese Easter Cookies
A dog friendly Easter cookie recipe!

1/4 Cup of Tuna Juice (drained from can)
6 or 8 Ounce Can of Tuna
1/2 Cup of Whole Wheat Flour
1/4 Cup of Cornmeal
1 Tablespoon of Parmesan Cheese

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Open the can of tuna and drain 1/4 cup (if you are a little short, simply add some water). Next, in a medium bowl, combine the tuna water, flour, cornmeal and cheese. Mix well. Finally add the tuna. If you don't mind the smell of tuna on your hands, knead the dough for a few minutes.

Next, grab your rolling pin and roll out the dough to desired thickness. If the dough sticks to the rolling pin, rub the pin down with some flour. Cut out cookies using Easter cookie cutters. As you can see, I chose a rabbit and a flower. Place the shapes on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake for approximately 20 minutes (or until golden brown). Cool completely. if you wish, decorate the cookies with some shredded carrot or dog friendly sprinkles (I purchased sprinkles from Puppy Cake ). Store in an airtight container. After three or four days freeze remaining cookies so that they do not spoil.

Note: Cats like these cookies too! Simply cut them in to small, manageable pieces and serve. Meow!
